First review of "Obligate Loneliness" from ukrainian zine "Krok u Rock"
Today, on February 27, 2015, the release of our second album “Obligate Loneliness” took place at the Mexican label “La Mazakuata Records”. The European release is performed by “Wolfshade Records”.
It is a long-expected and cheerful event for us and we are more than happy to share our joy with you in this respect.
The pirate version of the album (although of a not-the-best quality) is already available at a number of musical sites and trackers. But if you want to be fair with us and yourself, buy a CD at one of the releasing labels (http://www.lamazakuatarecords.com, https://www.facebook.com/wolfshaderecords) or contact us - http://mortaliumband.net/index.php?r=site/contacts.
It is also possible to download the digital version of the album at our Bandcamp in the best quality and get a gift from the band - the album booklet in pdf version (https://mortalium.bandcamp.com/).
We are glad to announce the upcoming release of our second album “Obligate Loneliness” that will take place at the Mexican label La Mazakuata Records on February 27, 2015. The band is planning to support the release by a tour around Ukraine. Moreover, later in 2015 the album will be presented in other European countries as well.
The album was recorded in cooperation with the Dark Essence Recording Studio known by its works with such bands as Nokturnal Mortum, Khors, Elderblood and others. As a result of the co-working with the talented sound-engineer Astargh the recorded material has obtained a new for us brisk and even bold sounding that perfectly displays our current vision of our music.
The visual component of the album was elaborated by the artist and designer from Kyiv – Sergiy Maksymenko - who also prepared the cover-art for our first album “A Gap between Birth and Death”. The previously successful cooperation left no doubt for the band as to who will bear responsibility for the new CD design.
The ten-page booklet carried out as a trip to the gloomy world filled with the post-industrial aesthetics, deserted landscapes and surrealistic images visualizes the album atmosphere in the most suitable way.
